By visiting Lyngen, you can enjoy a magical boat trip that lets you experience nature from the sea and try your luck at fishing. Fresh fish is truly a treasure! The Ullsfjord and Lyngenfjord meet just outside our village, offering fantastic fishing opportunities for halibut, coalfish, cod, and more, where the fjords and mountains meet the sea. The view of the surrounding islands and the steep Lyngen Alps, rising from the sea to 1400 meters, is breathtaking.
Our boats are well-equipped with GPS, echosounder, buckets, and boxes for your catch. Remember to check the minimum size for all fish you catch. We use Kvernø 19ft or 22ft boats with outdoor seating, perfect for fishing or a day of sightseeing with family or friends. In summer, you can enjoy the vibrant birdlife, including puffins and white-tailed eagles, and you might even spot some arctic dolphins.
