Booking conditions

XLyngen recommends you to read the conditions carefully as you will be bound of them.

XLyngen is responsible for delivering the product you order in agreement with the description, and any claims relating to accommodation or activities must be directed to us.

Booking and payment

The booking is confirmed when your payment is processed and you will also receive a confirmation via e-mail. Please, check that the details of the confirmation are correct. If booking is made via a tour operator, they will charge you for the journey.

Customer cancellation/changes

In order to cancel or change your reservation, you need to contact XLyngen. Please, note that in case of cancellation the following fees apply:

  • Cancellation can be made until 30 days before arrival with 100% refund
  • Cancellation between 15 and 29 days before arrival will be made with 75% refund
  • Cancellation between 7 and 14 days before arrival will be made with 50% refund
  • Cancellation less than 6 days before arrival will not be

The customer is liable for any additional charges incurred (damage e.g.)

Booking and payment packages

When you book a package offer, you have to pay 30% deposit. The booking is confirmed when your payment is processed, and you will receive a confirmation by e-mail.

Payment of the rest, 70% is 20 days before arrival, you will receive a payment note in the first invoice about the remaining amount. If the remaining amount is not payed 14 days before

arrival, the booking will be cancelled.

If the booking is made via tour operator, they will charge you for the journey.

Cancellation package offer

Acancellation of a package offer is subject to the following fees:

  • Cancellation made more than 60 days before arrival – 0%
  • Cancellation made between 14 and 59 days before arrival – 30% (the deposit payed)
  • Cancellation made less then 13 days before arrival – 100% of the total price

Cancellation ski guide

  • Cancellation of ski guide made more than 30 days before arrival, 100% refund
  • Cancellation of ski guide less than 30 days before arrival will not be refunded

All other cancellation of accommodation and activities as described above.

Cancellation day trips for activities

  • Cancellation can be made until 30 days before arrival with 100% refund
  • Cancellation between 15 and 29 days before arrival will be made 75% refund
  • Cancellation between 7 and 14 days before arrival will be made 50% refund
  • Cancellation less than 6 days before arrival will not be refunded

If a booking is made via a tour operator, then their cancellation policy applies.

Insurance/cancellation protection

We recommend all our customer to ensure they have a good insurance before commencing trip in case of illness, lost luggage, accidents and similar incidents.

XLyngen company

We are responsible for our part of your program including complete insurances, certificate staff etc. in accordance with the laws and rules that may apply for the supplier.

Cancellations/Major changes

Cancellation or Major changes may occur if:

  • Conditions out of our control, the weather, accidents
  • Conditions for the booking is not met, minimum number of participants(2), age

If this type of cancellation happens, and you do not accept the alternative provided to you, we refund 100% of the cost for that part of the reservation.

In order to ensure a good experience for you, we might have to change minor details in your reservation. This may be caused by weather condition.

Complaints

If you encounter errors or discrepancies along the way in relation to the travel documents you have received, and the relationship cannot be corrected on the spot, please, make a written complaint directly to us as soon as possible.
